Sledding in Sammamish, Wordless Wednesday

It's been a year since we were hit with one of the biggest snow storms the Seattle area has seen in a number of years.  A white Christmas was followed by a white New Year.  This year much of the rest of the country has been socked in with ice & snow while we are green and wet.

 Sledding in Sammamish

Strike

Kids will always find a way to maximize their fun, garbage cans as bowling pins, sleds and riders as bowling balls.  Looks like a strike, although no one was keeping score.

Garbage cans for bowling pins.  Just when I thought I've seen it all.

Fantastic!  Looks like a lot of fun.  We're getting new snow as I type.  Looks like a ski day tomorrow!

Dan...what a great photo combo; love the Bowling pins & totally LOL at the Bowling Ball.  Glad that your post in wordless Wednesday DID include words, as I thought this was a slalom example. We are to get SNOW starting tomorrow afternoon--so far not much; proposed total for Michigan is 44" for the season-which now means Jan- March.

Barb & Sal --freezing here in our part of Michigan LOL

Barb & Sal, I cheat on WW, always making a few comments.  I put most of them up for Localism and want them to be found.

Bob, Have fun on the slopes.  We're dry and green here, but I've got slopes about 40 minutes away.

Brian, Never underestimate the creativity of kids.  I went out to find this action with no adult supervision.  Good thing too, they had fun.

Dan...WOW this looks like fun.  We have had over 26 inches and expect more this weekend.  Now, I am ready for spring.

Dan, I just spent the day at our local Ski Hill tearing up over 12 inches of fresh powder.  We love snow here too!  This looks like so much fun.  What a great idea for a blog.
