A Buyer's Market Part 1 - What does that mean for BUYERS?Vancouver WA Real Estate

A buyer's market is just that, "A Buyer's Market." But what does that mean? What does it mean to anyone other than a real estate agent? What does it mean to the buyer?

Economists will gladly tell you that there are no "Buyer's Markets" and there are no "Seller's Markets." There are just "Markets." While technically true, someone always has the advantage in every market. In a buyer's market, the buyers have the advantage.

In a buyer's market, the supply outweighs the demand. Think of it like this: everyone is selling but only a few are buying. They have the ability to pick the best homes on the market and buy them at the best prices. So, what does that mean to you as a buyer? It means that now is the time to buy!

Gary Keller, founder and chairman of the board of Keller Williams Realty International, states it like this in his latest book, Shift:

"A buyer's market should be just that - a buyer's market. It's not a fence-sitting, waiting, loitering, delaying, dawdling, postponing, vacillating, hesitating, wavering, faltering, pausing, foot-shuffling market. By its very name it means buyers should be doing one thing and one thing only - buying."

We specialize in leveraging any market to your advantage. When buying or selling in any market, you need the best on your side. We pride ourselves in cutting the best deals for our clients. Don't settle for less.

When you are ready to stop "fence-sitting, waiting, loitering, delaying, dawdling, postponing, vacillating, hesitating, wavering, faltering, pausing, and foot-shuffling" then you owe it to yourself to give us a call. We are here for you. We will use this market to your advantage and get you into the house of your dreams for less that you may have thought possible.

This was a great re-blog Liz - and I love all the adjectives in Mark's last paragraph!  I need to send this to a few buyers people I know.

I totally agree the buyers' market is only when they are buying.
