RESPA TRAINING VIDEO

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with AZ Veteran Notary Services CA BRE 01444168
On December 14, 2009 AllRegs conducted a 2-Hour webinar on the hot topic of the changes that have since taken place regarding RESPA, concentrating on how to implement the new GFE and HUD-1 Settlement Statements. The course covers the new disclosure scheme including tolerance, treatment of yield spread premiums and third party credits for closing costs.

AllRegs has published a series of videos that I found on YouTube, that I have found to be useful to help clarify some of the issues that have been raised.

The call assumes that the listener has a basic understanding of what RESPA is all about, as we all should since it has been the strongest Federal Law that has governed our industry since 1974. The calls concentrate rather than the basics but on questions on how to best implement the new rule.

For more information on how to view the full course recording, visit www.AllRegs.com or call (800) 848-4904.

John,

One wounders why thed didn't just inforce the existing rules!

If you followed last years this isn't going to be any big prolbem. Those that didn't follow the old rules won't cgange their strips for long.

When all is said and done "The only protection the consumer has is the personal intergerty of his loan origantor!"

Good post!

Bill

Bill,

If you are a politician your job security comes from the need to creat new rules and laws.  We have become a nanny socialist country and that is why we need to create new rules...job security.  Heaven forbid any of those guys and gals in elected office actually had to go out and feed their families on a commission income.  We already know how good they are with budgets.

Cheryl,

Not sure of the charge - my guess is they want you to pay for something somewhere - I just found the video and posted it without extensive research on the provider.

sorry,

John

Karin,

Yes the video is pretty easy to follow in plain English - so take a few minutes.  The provider has other videos that YouTube will expose you to, when you watch this one - check them all out, if you have the time.
