Charleston. SC has not seen snow since 1989 -- the same year that Hugo hit us. At least this is what I remembered -- when I googled it, there was snow on Nov. 21, 2006 -- watch this video and you will see why I don't remember it:
We don't want snow -- we like the warm weather.
I'm sure that the children would love to have snow -- this would mean no school -- wait a minute, they are out anyway for teacher's work days -- so the snow would be wasted there.
I will admit that it would be fun having a little snow -- just enough to give everyone a thrill and maybe cover the ground -- but no ice, please.
