Charleston, SC - snow?

Charleston. SC has not seen snow since 1989 -- the same year that Hugo hit us. At least this is what I remembered -- when I googled it, there was snow on Nov. 21, 2006 -- watch this video and you will see why I don't remember it:

 



We don't want snow -- we like the warm weather.

I'm sure that the children would love to have snow -- this would mean no school -- wait a minute, they are out anyway for teacher's work days -- so the snow would be wasted there.

I will admit that it would be fun having a little snow -- just enough to give everyone a thrill and maybe cover the ground -- but no ice, please.

My wife did not make it home last night , But with my 4 wheeler I was able to get her up our mountain. I tried to go ouot today and my car is oin a neighbors drive. Car and I are well but I am really glad I shopped yesterday.  We are not going anywhere today and maybe even tomorrow

Liz, I am originally from the Chicago area so I'm used to snow and lots of it.  I moved to Nashville several years ago.  We got about an inch of snow here and the schools were closed for 2 days.  In Chicago, you would have to get 3 feet of snow before they close the schools.  It just tickles me when that happens.

Liz:  You're funny.  I wouldn't remember that "snow" either.  We got just enough for the neighborhood to play bumper cars this morning.  The roads were really slick.
