One of the frustrations I see many agents have is, "there's not enough time to get it all done." One of the best things I ever did to increase my efficiency was to set an appointment with myself twice per day. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon for 30 to 45 minutes seemed to work best for me. During these "total focused energy" times I would hold all my phone calls and have a list of activities in front of me so I knew exactly what I was going to work on during this time. I simply put my head down and began to get them done; free from interruptions from phone calls and other agents.
By the way, I put a STOP sign on my desk during these times so other agents would leave me alone. Here's the bottom line. When you have focused energy and are free from interruptions, you will generally get done in 30 minutes that would normally take 2 hours! Try it - you'll like it.
