Congrats Alabama!

Congratulations to the new BCS champions, Alabama

What a team! Not only did they win the National Championship, they also bred the Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, who scored the clinching touchdown. The 37-21 victory over Texas was a great game. Hope some of you go to enjoy it.

I'm not a football fan, but it sure was a fun game to watch!

There is nothing like a close game where no one is out to lunch.

Anthony,  Yes it was! Mark Ingram & McElroy were amazing, unstoppable, and they looked like champions!  It was a shame to see Colt McCoy get hurt so soon in the game, but freshman Garrett Gilbert did his best under pressure, and Shipley was awesome.

Monika,  It was a very close game in the 4th...it looked like they could have tied it up.

Michael...You already know where I stand about football...My husband watched every minute of the game as he was rooting for the SEC team...He's from Florida and is a Gator fanatic...

As an Austin resident I was obvioulsy behind the Longhorns. There was no way we could win without Colt and I feel so sorry for him. What a sad way to end a glorious college career. Still, the NFL beckons..........

Cherise, So does that mean that your husband always watches football alone?? I bet you love Monday Night football! LOL

Steve, It was a very sad end to his college career. But it ws a fun game to watch and Texas should be proud. The Longhorns are the #1 Value team in college. They bring in the most money. I'm very certain that McCoy will have an excellent career in the NFL.
