10 Comments on Franklin, NC Real Estate Snow Day? Heck NO I'm working! What did you do?
Hi June...
Sounds like a nice full day in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains. And what's a little dead squirrel when it comes to a sale? lol
Richard ~ lol... I think maybe he is a little frozen by now? I just shook my head and I will go get him out. Gezzz.
Hello June, just stopped by to say hello. Interesting post...we just went through a couple of days like that except we didn't get the snow that was predicted...just enough...less than an inch, but it was enough to close schools and roads. I still managed to get out and take care of a little business...hey, I'm a Chicago boy at heart...a little ice and snow is not going to stop me.
Hello NICK! :O) I was raised in NY and we went to school with very few snow days. Here they close if there is a chance of snow. They let school out Thurs. before it even happened. In fact it didn't really start till around 4:00pm. Well I forgot have mountains here...
June--I was wondering how the weather was affecting you. We had at least 10 inches since last night. Great for cross country skiing. Where did you grow up? My husband is from Fairport, NY (near Rochcester).
Wow Mary... I never did learn to ski. I went once with the intention. We went to the lounge to get some liquid courage, came back down to get the ski's and they were stolen. Never tried again, I thought it was a sign... lol I grew up in Glens Falls, NY. Its 50 miles north of Albany. Near Saratoga Springs, famous horse track there.
That sounds like a bummer event. I have never been to Glen Falls or Albany. We have been to West Point a few times. Love the scenery of that section of NY.
June -
We had very similar days. Snow, ice, and hills and curves here in Tennessee.
So I stayed home to work. The phone and email were hopping, though.
June - we didn't get the full day here, just a two hour delay! I wish we would have had the full day or nothing since the two hours really put a kink into otherwise well laid out plane! You on the other hand - Got get 'em girl!
June...With todays technology, you can be productive inspite of the weather..and it sounds like you were really truckin'!
