Friday Fotos: What I Woke Up To!

By
Real Estate Agent with RLAH@properties AB95346

When I woke up to my first post-vacation Washington, DC morning, there was a little gift from Mother Nature!  She wanted to ensure that I wasn't left out of the snow scene here entirely.  We had a few inches on the ground and a lot in the funky old pine tree in my front yard.  Oh, and of course I needed a jump start on my car when I left for my first appointment!

Luckily, the neighbor who started my car must have shoveled my steps while he was doing his own!

I'm sorry, Pat - I just had to giggle with this one!  You want from warm, beautiful, sunny beaches to this.  It's COLD!

Pat,

There's something about snow on pine or fir branches - maybe that's why they sell flocked Christmas trees. :)

That's a great foto. It's looking like we may get some flurries here in Central Florida tomorrow. To us that's a big deal. The last time it snowed in Central Florida (that I can remember) was in 1989.

Patricia - Nothing says welcome home to the snow like needing to jump start your car.  Stay Warm!

Patricia,

Looks very different from Huwaiian landscape. And temperature are quite different, too. As one great guys said, nature does not have bad weather, Every weather has its own beauty. I do not believe it, and that;s why I am in Florida, but these days it is not a big consolation even in Florida.

Missing vacation yet? Airport is only a few miles away, Oregon is a great vacation spot. We have a little bit of everything, 1 hour to snow, 1 hour to beach and lots and lots to do... and maybe a 10% chance of snow.

Pat, I should have such a nice neighbor!  Here they shovel to exactly their line and don't go an INCH over it--even if they have snowblowers.  Goodness, I used to shovel my elderly neighbors out.  I've had enough snow to last.........forever :)!

Pat ---- I am sitting in my office freezing -- it is in the 20's here -- your photo just makes me colder. I am so ready for Mr Winter to move along.
