Well the Blitz is about to begin. Anyone who knows me knows that I do not like pop-bys but I know most of my business in 2009 (my best year ever) was a result of doing the Blitz. It is difficult for me to do a pop-by with something small or cheap. I know Brian says it is not about the "thing" but I just can't help it.

I bought 15 of the Dave Ramsey book The Total Money Makeover (got them at a great price). This book really helped me to reevaluate my finances and it was one of Brian's suggestions at Mastermind. I will be giving these out to the 15 people that I feel can most benefit from the message. If this helps just one person I will be very happy.

My problem is, I don't know what to give to the rest of the people. Does anyone have a suggestion that maybe goes along with this idea?

How about small calculators? Tagline, Here's a calculator to help you add up your savings this new year! Add up your real estate needs & referrals, and send them my way! They sell candy calculators, which would be good for February popbys, You could have a theme going on! Adding up your referrals, is sweet joy, to me!

Kathy,

I thought of Brian, who often offers his tales of his popby days! Keep a bunch of items, in your trunk and ready to go! That will help you to offer them more often and with less apprehension. I find myself offering popbys to folks that I just met, or to their friends when they are present for my appointment.
