Atlanta Home Prices Down 32.7 Percent Since Mid 2006
We all knew the value of homes dropped but few recognized the magnitude of the price drop for Atlanta Homes. The AJC reports Atlanta home prices are down 32.7 percent since Mid 2006. This analysis was performed by Clear Capital Home Data Index.
"Though that may look hopeful, that home prices in the metro area ended 2009 nearly flat compared to the year before, the reality is 2008 was one of the worst years on record for housing prices, said Alex Villacorta, a senior statistician for Clear Capital" Atlanta Journal and Constitution
Clear capital reported a o,7 percent drop in home prices in the past 13 months. Good news in light of the dramatic drops in previous years I guess.
