Straight up the mountain, slowly does it, for this hike is steep and rough. It is well worth it though. Winter is my favorite time to hike, this paticular trail has many creek crossings and at times very difficult to cross without getting wet! (you don't have to get wet - just be careful) Summer time is fun to go rock hopping. This picture is at the top of the water falls. We have had a lot of snow and cold tempatures this winter. Not the norm for us, but I am loving it! This is about a 3 1/2 to 4 hour round trip hike. A little longer if you're stopping to enjoy. Unaka Mountains- Unicoi County- Tennessee
