I recently stumbled upon the website of NACA -- Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America.  They have a low-interest rate mortgage that they provide as well as homebuyer training classes for potential homebuyers.  They have a referral program where they will refer pre-approved buyers who have attended their classes to agents.  It is a pretty hefty referral fee at 33%.

Just wondering if any Active Rainers are familiar with this program or have used it and to what success?

Haven't heard of them but 33% seems steep.  Better work on volume!

First, the only refer to you if you refer to them and actually have buyers that complete the class.  I went to their agent sign-up class.  I sat there for hours listening to their pitch.  I tried referring about 20 people over the course of a month to the program, and not a single person would sign up.  A few read the information about what the program was about and they get excited about the lower interest rates, for a split second, but when they find out that they actually have to attend buyer classes and do work, they all got turned off.  So, even though I referred several people to the program, not a single referral from NACA because no one completely the classes.
