The Placer SPCA is providing assistance to Placer County residents that are having a tough time financially but are responsible caregivers.  Job losses and foreclosures have made it hard not just for people but also for pets.  How is the Placer SPCA's "SOS" Program helping?  They are helping pets and their owners stay together by providing temporary housing, helping with pet deposits for the owners that are moving into a rental, donating pet food and even offering veterinary treatments for animals with life threatening conditions.

For more information on this SOS Program, call (916) 782-SPCA (7722) ext. 103 or (530) 885-PETS (7387) ext. 103.  You can also email operations@placerspca.org.

You can visit the Placer SPCA website for more information or to download an application.
