The past couple of weeks we have been working on a new staging / redesign project for a client. It is a condo that was stuck in a 1980's time warp and needed to be brought up to date before hitting the market the middle of January. To make matters worse, the condo had been rented for several years and the tenants had pretty much trashed the interior.

The window treatments, curtains and wallpaper have been removed. The walls were painted with a Sherwin Williams Latte to tone down the peach tones in the ceramic tile around the fireplace. The trim and below the fireplace were painted a soft white. New carpet and padding have been installed.

The wallpaper has been removed and the appliances are being replaced with stainless steel appliances. The walls have been painted "Latte". After photos will be posted once the appliances go in.

New carpet has been installed and a soft teal paint was selected for the walls. With so much brown and beige throughout, I thought we needed to punch it up a bit in the bedroom. Especially since the room tended to be a little dark since it did not get any direct sunlight.
This week we will be putting the "icing on the cake" on this project. The light fixtures will be installed. The new appliances will be installed, and the staging will begin. Furniture, accessories, and window treatments will be installed. Be sure to check back for updates later this week.
The target list date for this home is January 18th. There will be a REALTOR luncheon and preview a few days after it hits the market.
