Greg - it seems the learning never stops ... technology is changing so fast I suspect many are struggling to keep their head above water
Kathy, We live in a fast paced reality. We change with it the best we can or we don't. Those that don't will have lots of company for quite a while. I am trying to change with it but I don't think I will ever be out front on that one. The learning is always enjoyable for me though.

That's a great point about making assumptions. I just made an assumption on a purchase last week. There was no information on the MLS printout about an issue, so I assumed something then *wham,* it came back to bite me.
I also plan to go check my listings and make sure all my data is accurate and complete!
Rich, Its so easy to make incorrect assumptions. Sometimes I don't even realize I am doing it. I assume you know what I mean. ;)
GREG: I appreciate your thoughts in this posts. So many times we feel the information has been verified and it has not. Ddefinitely I agree that you cannot assume that the MLS data or even the plat cards at the registry are accurate. I have found errors as to measurements and rooms listed that were not part of the listing, as a Florida/sun room or shed. I make it a point to talk with the inspectors at the Town and City halls. I actually has a property my clients were buying as a 2 family that was not zoned legally as a 2. I document document and document
