While I was over on Coronado Island today, I took made an opportunity to go see Marriott's Coronado Island Resort and Spa.
As many times as I've visited Coronado, I've never made it a point to go by the Resort even though I've heard great things about it.
It's not easy to get to, but it definitely has one of the more beautiful locations over on the Island, and the Resort itself didn't disappoint. In fact, they even have their own little flock of flamingos, beautiful streams and fountains, lots of mallards and seagulls, and the most spectacular views of downtown San Diego. Following are some pictures of the Resort.

Living in Coronado obviously is tiring.
Either that or they need their beauty sleep.

All of the mallards had paired off into
male and female couples. I think they
are going to have lots of babies in a few months.

This fake owl was supposed to scare off the seagulls.

It wasn't working.

The tide was low, so there were footprints on the sand.
