Philip, glad to hear you were able to get some good out of such a scenerio. Dad's can be tough on realtors. Thanks for sharing. -----Gloria
Hello Philip - What a great story. I'm sure y'all will find the right place for her. Good luck!
Philip - a father's approach and viewpoint are often quite a bit different. Not a bad deal killer.
Philip,
He sounds like a concerned dad, you found a common ground with him and I think this younger generation want their parents involved in the process, smart move on your part.
When you put yourself in the buyers shoes it does change perspective - way to go dad! Every girl needs a dad like that!!! Thanks for sharing!
I always tell buyers how smart they are for bringing their relatives for a second showing, and I tell the relatives how wise they are to check it out. Which is true. So, I haven't had any major problems. Besides, it gives me a chance to meet more people who might refer other business to me or possibly hire me themselves. There's little downside to it. I mean, if they were to spot something that I had missed, I'd want to know about it.
Phil, this guy sounds like a great dad. When I am working with younger people, I sort of take on that role anyway. It's nice that you didn't mind. It shows your character, which I've come to know is quality. xxoo
