I am exactly one week into the ActiveRain experience. I have met some truly wonderful people. I have learned so much and I have received so much help it is unbelieveable.

And guess what, I have passed the 5,000 point level. I can't believe it. My goal was 3,000 in the first week. I figured that would have been good enough.

It would have been good enough to get #1 featured spot in my city. Now I'm #12 in San Diego County.

It boggles my mind.

All the EASY victories have been won. Now it is time to get down to business. I intend to remain very active on AR. I do have some things to say and contribute.

And I still don't know what I'm doing. Which only means that AR is very easy and very effective.

Did I mention that AR also gave me #1 in google for my name and city?

Before AR I couldn't find myself in the first 50 pages of search results. I can't say enough good things about ActiveRain.

And the simple truth is if I can do it, anybody can do it.

I didn't do anything special. I listened to the advice of all of you who visited my blog. I want to thank you now if I haven't thanked you before. Aome of your suggestions you've made I haven't been able to implement because I don't have a clue how to. Adding pictures and graphics and links to my blog are way beyond my capability.

Now I have a goal of 100,000 points in my first year. That will be the true test.

Bill, Just set goals and stick with it.  It takes a lot of writing to get to 100,000.  Good luck.

Congratulations. You must have spent a lot of time on AR to get 5000 points. I agree we all can learn a lot on AR and people are very helpful.

Tim, It probably does take a lot of writing but I didn't even notice. I was just participating and the points came as if by magic.

Tracy, Yhank you.

Gita, The time was well spent. I would've done it anyway, even if there were no points,

Thanks to all of you.

Bill, 5000 points in one week!  That is awesome.  I need to check and see what your point count is today, since your original post is a couple of weeks old.  We need a ticker tape...Great job!
