I decided I was going to take off the entire week since July 4 fell on a Weds. I still grabbed calls, but tried to completely goof off as much as possible. Yes, I began to turn back into a human - I painted, gardened, spent time with the family, grilled ribs with the husband, slept all day on July 4th :) and contacted friends around the world.

Wonder of wonders - tons of showings, and three sales.

I NEED MORE VACATIONS!

That seems to happen with me too and others in my office. We all joke about taking vacations so our listings will sell. Great job.

That seems to be one of life's consistent ironies. It's always seemed to prove true that if the market is dead, all you need to to to liven it up is to plan to leave town!

Never fails.  If I decide to take some time off for vacation, or just to have relatives over or just to work on home projects,  my phone won't stop.  It can be frustrating at times but you just gotta go with it.
