I am currently having my web site rebuilt.  Rather than using one of the many companies out there who provide web sites, I am using a private individual who is building a business by building web sites.  We have been going back and forth as to what should be on the site.  Our goal is to be unique, but useful to those who visit. 

What are some helpful elements that will help drive visitors to a web site?
