Butch Otter I KNOW I love you. KEEP THAT UP AND YOU MAY BE PRESIDENT SOME DAY!
Butch for president... I agree. We need someone who understands BUDGET in Washington.
HALLALUJAH!!! FINALLY A MAN WHO'S WILLING TO STAND UP AND DO WHAT'S RIGHT!!!
Kevin, who needs new taxes when you have the hidden tax of inflation. More federal spending will give us more taxes automatically.
Kevin, hope it works for you. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been saying "if you don't have it then don't spend it". Let's see if Idaho leads the way with common sense.
I hope he keeps his word. The governor of Maine is saying the same thing. Do not trust him much, so hoping he is being truthful this time. Only time will tell.
Idaho looks pretty good right now! If national politics isn't reformed soon, you might have a population surge.
We have a vacation house there, it may just have to become my primary residence!

McDonnell in VA has basically said the same thing. He is for SELLING all of the state liquor stores and getting those state employees and their entitlements OFF the state retirement books and onto private businesses....YEAH Baby! That's What I'm Talking About!!!
If only the ones in charge in Washington even knew what a budget was!! Go Butch Go!!!!
Only time will tell how if Butch keeps his word. He has been fairly good at it over the last few years.
I hope he is able to keep his word. Once the tax base starts to decline, most politicians will immediately move to cut funding for emergency services, garbage collection, etc. until there is a public outcry over lack of services. Then they can say they were merely responding to the public's request when they raise taxes.
