Sometime last year, our daughter found a Kenmore Elite stainless steel gas range on clearance at her local Sears. The price was way too good for us to to pass up! After too many weeks went by, I repaired the footing of the stove and had it installed. Happy wife!

As you might expect, we now "needed" an over-the-range SS microwave. We did our research, and finally decided on one at Best Buy. Would you believe it? The day we went to buy it, the store had marked the floor model down nearly $100 below the sale price! Less than half the original price! Cool! We spent a Saturday installing it. Happy wife!

Now what about that 10-year-old Whirlpool dishwasher that still works well? With its black door panels, it just did not look right in a "neighborhood" with a new SS range and MW nearby. Replacing it was not an option, so I did some "Googling" to see what options I might have for replacing the door panels with brushed SS panels. I found several companies that offered the panels for $75 or so.

I then did an eBay search and found a seller that offers these panels in a variety of sizes for a variety of models of older dishwashers. The price? $25 including shipping! The company will even custom-cut panels to fit your measurements for the same price! Installing the panels was simple. They fit perfectly, and surely make that old dishwasher look better! Happy wife!

Moral of the story: If you or a client need to update an older model dishwasher, the price is right! Go to eBay and find seller legacysedge. Note: Before posting, I checked the price and found out that it has been raised $4. Still a bargain in my eyes.
