Main Street Maryland
The State of Maryland through its Department of Housing and Urban Development created the Main Street Maryland program in 1998 to revitalize its traditional downtowns.
Intended to spur economic opportunities while preserving the rich historical flavor of these towns, the program has proven to be an enormous success as it has substantially boosted business activity.
