The neighborhood of Cascade, Seattle Washington

When looking for real estate in Seattle it helps to know about each and every neighborhood. Cascade Seattle is a neighborhood that most people drive through and don’t realize that they are driving through it.

Cascade Seattle is located along Interstate 5 just west of Capitol Hill and extends to Fairview Avenue and is north of Denny Way. Fairview Ave and Denny Way are the two main streets through here. Fairview offers quick and easy access to South Lake Union and an entrance to Interstate 5. Denny Way runs east and west and gives quick and easy access to every other neighborhood of Seattle.

Cascade Seattle has an older, industrial feel to it because many warehouses are located here. Most of these warehouses are reminders to when Lake Union was used as a major loading and unloading area. There are quite a few commercial businesses such as REI that also call Cascade home.

The neighborhood is going through a growth phase that is fueled by the development in South Lake Union and the construction of the light rail. Currently, there are very few single-family homes and condos available. It would be a good idea to keep this neighborhood on your research radar.

That is truly an amazing understanding of neighborhoods, information and awesome photo journalism.  You have got to be the man!

Keep up the good work.  I look forward to seeing future video tours and Seattle neighborhoods.  Can you also begin to add neighborhoods, like Bellevue, Renton, Kent, Kenmore, Federal Way, Des Moines, Tukwila, Burien, etc.?   I'm sure your information on those areas would be appreciated!

Thanks!
