My apologies to Bill Haley

One, two, three o'clock, four o'clock, blog,
Five, six, seven o'clock, eight o'clock, blog,
Nine, ten, eleven o'clock, twelve o'clock, blog,
We're gonna blog around the clock tonight.

Put your computer on and join me, hon,
We'll have some fun when the clock strikes one,
We're gonna blog around the clock tonight,
We're gonna blog, blog, blog 'til broad daylight.
We're gonna blog, gonna blog, around the clock tonight.

When the clock strikes two, three and four,
Active Rain we'll roar for more,
We're gonna blog around the clock tonight,
We're gonna blog, blog, blog, 'til broad daylight.
We're gonna blog, gonna blog, around the clock tonight!

So how much time do you spend blogging?  How long does it take you to think about and write each of your posts?  How much time do you spend a day on Active Rain?  Just curious to know – so much good information here.  How much time do you spend blogging elsewhere or writing comments each day?

Depends on the blog - could be 15 minutes - could be an hour.  I know of some folks who take a couple of hours - lots of links, photos, etc.

Like Tony, it can be as little as 10-15 minutes or an hour or two depending on the content.

Ditto.  I've hammered them out quickly and I've spent hours writing one. The funny part is that the quickies seem to get more comments????

I am now trying to follow Tony's advice and spend some time commenting, so that doubles my time spent.  I try to write quick blogs that people won't get bored with, so I spend maybe 10 minutes.

Hi Brian, I've never timed myself, but the simple answer would probably be... too much.

Is it worth it? Yes, I've made some incredible personal & biz connections here on AR so it is/was time well spent.

God, I love this post!
More than I should.
Less than where I need professional help.
And, it's really, really helped my business!  May I quote your 'Blog Around the Clock" on my other blog - with attribution, of course?

I'm just starting to dig in deep here at AR, and feel that I'm spending waaaaaaay too much time!  It's hard to focus on WORK when we can be blogging!

Oldie but a goodie. Comments could be done a lot quicker if I didn't have to read the content. LOL.

Since I am old enuf to remember Bill Haley, the tune came right up with the words.
