9 Comments on Help Send Relief to Haiti: Here's a VERY Easy Way!
Good information. Also Foxnews.com and MSNBC.com have legitimate links for donations. Thanks.
Done, thanks for the information Lisa. These people need our help along with our prayers.
Thanks for helping spread the word
I am posting this as a feature in,"Christianity and Real Estate", Lisa.... unfortunately, government agencies might not be the best way to get aid to the country.....
Thanks for your post, sis!! =-)
Gary- I liked the simplicity of this method. 1 quick text and you've contributed to help those in need =)
Charles- Thanks! And yes; they need ALL the help we can give!
Scott- np. This is one of the great things about social networking. WE can get involved in helping to spread the word =)
Alex- Thanks. I posted this to all of the Chrisitan groups, hoping that Christians will "love" their neighbors as themselves.... The greates of these is love. (a verb... action) ;-)
I've heard they've raised over $10 million through texting. I bet texting becomes the next revolution in political contributions.
I think this is such a great and easy way to help the Haitians. It's hard to imagine how much suffering they are experiencing.
Lisa, thanks for the post. We can also donate through our churches as they provide food and The Word.
Jim- You're probably right. It doesn't get much easier than that. Although, just yesterday I heard that depending on your cell phone provider, some of the money may not actually get there for 3 months. That stinks!
Ann- Knowing my daughters experience there, and the pictures she brought back, I still can't imagine how horrible it must be. From what I've seen on the news, they're not even showing the areas where the missions group went! They're showing the cities, but it's the rural areas that really concern me. The povertly level there is beyond comprehension.
Barb- So true. There are MANY groups from churches, that were immediately dispatched with food and supplies. That doesn't get covered by the news either.
