I hear this question a lot. What can I say, other than the truth?
It is a great market in Mora, Minnesota right now.
It is great to be a Realtor in Mora Minnesota, too.
I am just loving this market.
Being a fairly new agent, I missed the real estate boom, where you sold things the day after you listed it for $20,000 more than the asking price. I came in fighting, and I love it.
The market in Mora did notice a slight increase in business during this time, along with a slight decrease in the last year. When I first began at RE/MAX Select, Inc. as the receptionist, it was very different than it is now.
I can tell you one thing. As an agent, if you aren't willing to give it your all, it's going to be a tough ride, baby.
Luckily, I'm willing to give it more than my all. I'm giving it every last ounce of energy, time, and devotion that I have in me, and it's working out great.
The market is what you make it is what I tell people. I stay positive, and am making my way in real estate. Sure, it's been a little slower. Sure, it's a buyer's market. Sure, it's hard to find those elusive buyers. Does that mean I'm going to give up? No way.
I have implemented a few different plans to ensure my success as a real estate agent. I have things I do that get me leads and contacts. I have things I do that DON'T get me leads and contacts. Those things I then assess - and sometimes discontinue in my plan.
However, there is one thing I keep consistant, and that is the needs and best interests of my clients. I've bought a house, been through the process, and I know what it's like. I want it to be easy, understandable, and I want my clients to be confident in me and the decision they make.
If I'm representing a seller, I represent them to the fullest. I offer many marketing features that no one else in the area does. Yes, it's time consuming, and yes, I work until 10 o'clock at night sometimes. That's okay. You want to sell for the best price possible, with the best terms, and have an active role in the process. That is my promise to you.
If I'm representing a buyer, it's all about explanation. I do not want you to sign something that you don't understand, show up for a closing (what is a closing, anyway!?!?!?) and then wave goodbye with a check in my hand. I'm getting paid to make sure you are getting the house you want at the best possible price in the perfect amount of time in the ideal conditions, and that you know EXACTLY what is going on.
Those are things are what makes me a good agent. That is why I am the difference in Minnesota Real Estate.
