These numbers include both trial and permanent modifications under the government Home Affordable Modification Program. While they are a little dated, it is interesting to see where the different states stack up. According to the same HAMP report, Florida, Michigan, California, Arizona and Nevada have the highest mortgage delinquency rates in the country, upwards of 12.5% of their mortgages.
