The city of Las Cruces has received a good deal of national attention as it has been recognized as on of the best places in the United States to live. Having moved here myself at the begining of January of 2006, I have been very excited to be apart of a growing community that is proving itself to be above the rest, and is striving to be the most desireable place to live. With large events happening at NMSU's Pam Am Center and constantly getting more and more attention, it is rare to have a night where something is not going on. Being the economic hub of southwest New Mexico, we also have a desire to see arts and culture grow in our local community and also in our neighboring town of Mesilla.
