This would be an ideal place to leave behind some referral cards and pamphlets [with the owner's permission of course]. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get to know the owners too as they may be interested in a mutual referral arrangement. They would like to be referred to for supplies of plants and flowers just as much as you would like their referrals. It never hurts to drop by and introduce yourself!

This is an excellent idea.  You may even be able to pick up some referrals from them, as they would know who is sprucing up thier yards because they want to sell soon.
