When you are thinking about listing your home be careful with the Realtor that you choose. Ask about their marketing plan. Where and how often will your property be advertised? What are their average days on market? Most of all, make sure that you are comfortable with whom you choose. Most likely you are trusting them with the biggest asset that you have.
LISTEN to your Realtor! They will help you in getting your home in showing condition. Also, don't go in high with your price saying that you can always reduce it later! The right price from the beginning makes a difference.
In the Upstate of South Carolina it is a Buyer's market. You will need to make your house attractive from the beginning.
