In this morning's Realty Times e-newsletter, there was an article regarding the latest reports from NAR. Buyers are re-entering the market and housing prices are correcting. Buyers who had been sitting on the sidelines waiting to see what the market was going to do are now taking the plunge and seizing the housing opportunities that are in front of them. Lower prices and lower interest rates are sparking them on to make their purchases instead of continuing to wait. YIPPEE!!!!

NAR is predicting a slight overall rise in prices by about 1.6%, and that the real estate market will start gaining "positive traction" in early 2007. Oh, how I hope that's true!
We've begun seeing a few more 'sale pending' signs up around the area in the last week or so, and I think that's really encouraging. I've also begun getting some more showings on my listings as well, listings that haven't had much activity of late at all. More great news. Now, if I could get start getting offers rolling in.............. ;-))
At long last though, some good news is starting to show up in the media!!!
