is the property value holding steady or is it still rocky in florida? whats the market like now

Well Jack,

It appears that the market is wanting to stabilize. There is still an oversupply. Credit crunch certainly doesn't help! There are definitely some good deals...I'm sure that there will be more as the year progresses!

We have seen 20% decline in our area. Today, spoke to an associate who needed help on an appraisal assignment and we found one short sale and a couple of "desperate type" of sales. I'm sure we have not seen the last of those!

So to answer your question, i think we are one year away from true stabilization!

Wish I had a crystal ball!
