(not so) Speechless Sunday...

As I listen to the soothing sound of the rain pelting the roof, it reminds me of simpler times when I was younger. How I used to love to walk in the woods and feel the warm gentle rain stream down my face. Simple times, when life was not so complicated, so rushed. How I long for those times to return. I hope that everyone has a peaceful weekend.

Michael - I used to think that things were a easier when we didn't have any of these electronic gadgets, and maybe that's why I usually turn mine off when I'm done with the day's business. If i tried to read all of my e-amil as it came, i would never even sleep, so sometimes you have to say that it's time to shut it off and chill.

Michael, oh how true it is!! When I was a little girl growing up in northern Ontario my parents had a little house (600 sq ft) that we shared with my grandmother (after my grandfather died). The roof was metal and the sound of the rain was amplified in the house, but somehow it was peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for all your great photos.
