Gotta say, this $2.00 key deal is some cutting edge marketing... Or not...
"Map to house for only $5.00?" I wouldn't expect valet parking, I suppose....
Matt, I've seen this as well. The $2.00 is for a HUD key for a HUD repo. Not sure that is the case where you are. I'm surprised that they didn't provide more details.

First of all you can not give out a HUD key to anyone not even your own agents. If they do not have a HUD key of their own that is a violation. This key charge would just about turn anyone off. The key charge in our area is $9:00 from the HUD property management office.
HUD keys are $6 in my neck of the woods. And I've seen in one Agent's remarks, Selling Broker must have active HUD registration. It seems keys are missing from the listings so some agents are charging a fee.
