Grateful for Martin Luther King and What He Stood For

By
Real Estate Agent with Patterson Schwartz

I was 14 years old that spring day and as I was young and didn't understand or comprehend racism, I remember how couldn't fathom why someone would kill such a person as this. I am grateful for this man and what he stood for. Never understood why Martin Luther King Day was not made official until Y2K? We've come a long way since the 1960's, but still need to make much progress. As human beings, we are all created EQUAL and we are all much more the same than we are different. Martin Luther King, like Bobby Kennedy took many chances back then and I'm sure they knew the chances they took by being in public without real protection. These men like our nations forefathers were very brave, they stood for justice and equality. My blog here is not politically motivated, it is motivated by love.

Freedom and Equality is a birthright. I am grateful for Martin Luther King and what he stood for!

Let us realize his beautiful dream.

As you have said this has nothing to do with politics it has to do with love.  Good post Dave
