Gail, the Rotary Club is one of the best Service Clubs around, they do a lot of good work in the community and is an organization worth joining.

George - I always wanted to belong to the Rotary Club.  I helped them start the chapter at a critical juncture before anyone was ready to take on leadership positions, then I gracefully bowed out as I'm way overcommitted already on charitable, service, and civic leadership positions.  To me it is an emotional thing to belong to the Rotary Club, because in the small town I grew up in the Rotary Club helped give me a quality of life I wouldn't have had without it.  Right now I'm in support mode with them and go to their fundraisers.
