
It is very simple why most of my clients chose Hartstene Pointe over other areas, when purchasing a vacation or retirement property. A well planned and maintained development will always stand the test of time.
Hartstene Pointe is not new by any means. In the late 1960s a vision for a planned recreation development on Harstine Island, was in the planning stages. In January 1970 the first section of the development broke ground of what would be called Hartstene Pointe. The planners from the Quadrant Corporation, a subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser Inc. wanted a natural atmosphere with tree-lined lots and distinctive Northwest-style architecture. They succeeded with an award winning 215-acre gated community in Mason County on Puget Sound. One of the features Quadrant envisioned when developing was the circular shape of most of the residential lots. These lots are either 80 ft. or 90 ft. in diameter and all are completely surrounded by common area greenbelt. My clients love the ability to walk the trails and/or enjoy the beaches and then retreat to the privacy of their cabins, surrounded by green belt.
My family decided to buy our vacation property in 1993. We searched from the mountains of Lewis County to the Pacific Ocean at Ocean Shores. All roads led us back to the beauty of Hartstene Pointe...
