December 2009 Real Estate Market Report:  Hernando Beach, Florida - Direct Access to Gulf of Mexico

This is the December 2009 market report for Hernando Beach Waterfront Homes located in those areas of the hernando Beach community that have direct boating access to the Gulf of Mexico.

The direct access areas are located in the northern parts of Hernando Beach and include all of the area north of Companero Entra.  The southern areas are Hernando Beach Central and Hernando Beach South which require boaters to use a boatlift to gain access to the canals leading to the Gulf of Mexico.

Waterfront homes are available for sale in Hernando Beach in a wide range of styles, sizes, and price range to meet the needs of many buyers. 

The lowest priced home in Hernando Beach, Florida, is a home that is not a waterfront property but located within a short distance of the well maintained public boat ramp in Hernando Beach.  

The highest priced home in Hernando Beach is a three-story stilt home of newer construction with inground pool, docks, with wonderful views across several intersecting canals and the Gulf of Mexico.

Sold Property 3:  A one-story pool home, final list price of $475,000 sold for $405,000 cash.  Built: 1981  Bed/Bath: 4/4  Living SF: 2603  Waterfront: 231 ft on saltwater canal
