Vermont do You Know about the Veterans Memorial Red Brick Walkway,The Voluntary Services at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, is doing a mighty good thing. A Veterans Memorial Red Brick Walkway.


The Red Bricks can be ordered for veterans past and present through the VAVS Executive's Committee by filling out a form. The cost of one of the red bricks is $50.00 and will allow up to three lines of engraving. Each line holds 13 characters. A letter, punctuation mark and space are each counted as a character.

Vermont do You Know about the Veterans Memorial Red Brick Walkway,The red bricks are engraved in a high-density concrete making them twice as strong as and less absorbent than poured concrete. They are set in a mortar-less, flexible, engineered pavement that won't crack or heave as a result of ground movement. These red bricks have been field-prov-en for over 30 years in Europe.


As a Veteran I ask you to fined out if the Voluntary Service at your local VA Medical Center is offering something like this for a Veteran of yours or any Veteran in your area. If they are not talk to them about doing it.


Vermont do You Know about the Veterans Memorial Red Brick Walkway,We all need to honor our Veterans. Lets not have our Veterans of today come home just to protesters on the street corners. As the Veterans of my day had to do. Lets show them we are there to support them in all they have to do and have done.


My lady had one of the red bricks placed in the Red Brick Walkway for me. And took me to see it and it felled my eyes with tears of joy.


I also had a brick put in the Red Brick Walkway for my youngest son that gave his life in Iraq.


Vermont do You Know about the Veterans Memorial Red Brick Walkway, This is the only Red Brick Walkway at a VA Medical Center in the Country that I know of. Any one in the US can order a red brick to have put in the Red Brick Walkway. They do not have the order form on the web. They will mail the form to any one that would like to order.

I used to live in Lake Havasu, Arizona and we had a Veterans walk way by the London Bridge as a fund raiser project for a memorial park.  I enjoyed buying Veteran friends of mine a brick for different occasions. They all seemed to appreciate the gesture.

Most Veterans always appreciate things like that!!! The only thing any Veteran, really wants. Is for folks to show that they do appreciate what we have done and have gave up, in order to keep our Great Country's Freedoms for them.
