By

Important Newsflash....
Hallelujah praising Christians Cross the line in support of PRO-Choice candidate who supports Abortion rights for every woman.....
Maybe Now they will STOP the inappropriate USE of calling Obama a "Baby Killer" and those of us who voted for him... because Obama voted Yes on the bill for abortion rights....
Well SO DID Scott Brown so now in REALITY by their singing praises over the Scott Brown election they have aligned themselves with the issue of favoring the killing of babies by abortion...
Not really something I thought I would ever see from a few self proclaimed ONE ISSUE Voters...
My how time and party lines can change, or in this case Corrupt,
a persons previous viewpoint on what is Sinful behavior......
Finally the truth is revealed.... PRAISE GOD..

Matthew 10:26 (King James Version)

26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Linda Mae - Scott Brown said

Abortion
While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.

Obama voted five times not to save babies born alive after a botched abortion - A Big Difference!

I think Nicholas has the point here.  And was Marcia Martha's opinion different?  If not, then that moves the decision to other issues.

Nick

thank you for the comment BUT voting one time or five times or making "mushy" statements to white wash his comment about abortion is STILL a vote FOR ABORTION..

I just find it sad that I was personally called a Baby killer when I am adamantly Against abortion But simply because I voted for Obama because I am Not a ONE ISSUE Voter..

I think this should stand as a lesson that sometimes far more is at stake then ONE Issue..in this diversified country of ours...

I am a Christian and for 18 months have suffered the persecution of others saying i am not because of my vote for Obama...

I am certainly NOT foolish enough to believe that your support or your friends support of Scott Browns election today in any way takes anything away from the FACT that you are Christians..

my only hope is that some here would see the folly of putting another person's Christianity in to a Box because of the way a political candidate voted on abortion..

We are after all humans...

i Love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my body mind heart and soul as i am certain you do as well..

God bless you...

I agree with Scott Brown's statement.  I have been saying this for a long time.

However, never, never should anyone call a woman who went through an abortion or who even supports a woman's right to choose a "baby killer".  This is hyped up nonsense and should be stopped.  It only does more harm than good.  The law of this country right now is a woman's right to choose, so she is within her legal limits what to do with her body, and we should not judge her decision.

This is such a difficult decision for a woman who need our comfort not our criticism.  Enough already.

Linda, comment in #12, bravo, right on.

As to #11, it is wrong to vote on one issue.  No make that stupid to do.  I will never support abortion itself, as I want to see alternatives.  Brown's proposal is a good one.  However, a woman's right to choose has to be protected because it is the law of the land (for now), and unfortunately it does include abortion.  Those that had felt pressed to make that decision need our support not our condemnation.

Dan,

I started voting on one issue for clintons second term. I voted for him his first term and never forgave myself. It is the only time I have ever voted for someone who was not pro life. To me all of the other issues are just politics most of which are meaningless, but not protecting God,s most vunerable creatures is , well i have a long history. As I said in a presentation i gave a couple of weeks ago, abortion has never been a debate to me, I held my son who was born  19 weeks into my wifes pregnancy. He weighed 10.5 ounces and LIVED FOR about 45 minutes. He also felt pain and screamed. Abortion is murder. end of argument.

Hugh, I am sorry.  I can understand better your passion against abortion.  It is a hotbed issue that I normally stay clear of, because you are dealing with two lives here, both who have rights embedded in natural law.  At one time the Catholic Church's position on abortion was that none was allowable under any circumstances even if the mother's life was at risk.  She was expected to give up her life for that child.  That is a pretty noble cause and asking for some pretty deep faith from a member.  The Catholic Church even goes further by not allowing the contraception, so in fact is encouraging life.  These beliefs for many seem extremes.

Our highest court has ruled that a woman has a "right" over her own body.  Now we have a conflict over what both can be argued as natural laws.  Now the courts are dealing with just how far does that mother's right carry before the child's right takes over.  We do have an obligation to protect that child, which cannot defend itself.  I hope and pray for an agreement we all can live with and still have everyone's rights protected.  I hope as well that we start working on alternatives to abortion.  May it become an obsolete procedure.

If gay marriage expands, those couples are going to want children.  There is no reason to take a life when there is already excess and potentially growing demand to be loving and nurturing parents.  I say excess demand, because I personally know couples who have had a difficult time finding and adopting a healthy child.

Scott Brown's stance on abortion is that it is not a simple, black & white issue.  Brown opposes late term abortion, and really only supports abortion rights where there is little argument over the viability of the child outside of the womb.  Obama's voting record on abortion is far different from the stance of Scott Brown.

I do not support name calling, but what better describes the act of inducing labor in the final trimester in order to end the life of the unborn, where that child has a good chance of survival with minimal care?

If a Kangaroo were carrying its offspring in its pouch, what would you call someone that killed the baby kangaroo while only the head was exposed?

I read Linda Mae's comment to say Obama didn't kill any babies and neither did the people who voted for him.  Using that term is just a matter of hysterics.
