State Sen. Scott Brown blasted Bay State expectations today with a bombshell victory over his Democratic rival Martha Coakley to capture the open U.S. Senate seat by a 5-point margin.

Joseph, what an amazing night! My daughter was in the room at the Park Plaza Hotel when Scott gave his victory speech. I've never been prouder to be a Massachusetts native than I am right now!

Joseph, only in America where the revolt happens in the voting booth.  Whoever wins gets seated without any riots in the streets and the government functions as it should.

I think the revolt started in 2006. It's too bad that an election between two political rookies was front page news. Let's see some political rookies kick some 20- and 30-year incumbents out of office. That would be front page news.
