The Difference Between Life and the Movies

"The difference between life and the movies

is that a script has to make sense,

and life doesn't."

Joseph L. Mankiewicz

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The difference between life and the movies

In the movies we know the story line before we see the movie, in life the story line continually changes.

The movie has a natural progression. Many times our lives seem to have no rhyme or reason and what we have to do is continually adjust and remain focused on our journey.

We can choose the movies we see. In life we can't control all the things that happen to us. But we can choose how we respond to what happens to us.

In the movies we can buy popcorn that's expensive; at home we can pop our own popcorn. Popping the popcorn takes effort, but having the popcorn is worth the effort.

In real life to enjoy a happy ending we have to have to create our own script, stay on course and work hard to achieve a happy ending.
