Southern California experienced torrential rains yesterday. No, not just some rain. We had actual thunder, lightning, hail, flooding, heavy downpour and even a tornado here and there. Lightning was almost hitting the hills behind our house. Thunder rolled on and on, sounding alot like the jets we hear every so often from March Air Reserve Base located about a mile and a half south of our home. There's supposed to be an even heavier cell headed our way later this afternoon. Suffice it to say, Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore!
