"Letitia, I'm looking forward to RainCamp coming to Atlanta. It's good to know that it was a great experience for you. I also wanted to thank you so much for stopping by, commenting and encouraging a couple of new member posts. (They are agents in my office that I invited to join AR.)"
My Reply:
"... Thank you for stopping by! When I first joined ActiveRain, I basically did nothing with it for two months - what a waste. Then I received a comment "Message of Encouragement" from Don Rogers which really kicked off my participation... it really made all the difference. So now, I try to pay it forward by encouraging others to join and new members to participate - and get involved.
Should you attend RainCamp, please do tell "post." I would love to read all about Your Experience."
Background:
I joined ActiveRain in May ‘2009 and wrote my first post promoting a FTHB seminar. Then, I vanished for about 2 months. On July 16th, I received an email from Don Rogers - my first and only comment on ActiveRain. Don not only welcomed me to ActiveRain, but also, featured me - along with other new ActiveRainers - in his July 18th "... Are you on the quest to find the pot of gold..." post. Four days from initial contact (July 20th), I started actively posting and never looked back...well, maybe once to gather the links for this post.

Thank you Don for your warm welcome and for kick starting my participation here on ActiveRain! Thanks to you - and many others here, I have discovered the many wonders of ActiveRain. I have also experienced my first RainCamp Event - RainCamp NYC!
