I wish I were with this guy in Mexico right about now. A little warmth and sun would be fantastic!

Sandy,  I'm in the snow in Wyoming today and it got me thinking about Mexico because I could use some warmth and sunshine too.

Bob,  Thank you.  I know that it is warmer than Las Vegas.  Today it was 84F in Veracruz, where this little critter hangs out.

That's a serious lizard. I like them to be behind glass at the Zoo or far enough away so that I have to use the 300mm lens. He does look well fed and happy.

Jim, It was a good sized lizard and he does look well fed and happy.  It's funny, I don't mind being around or holding lizards -- but snakes are a totally different matter.

I've seen many creatures on my trips to Mexico - but I don't think one that big. It looks quite large!

Gary,  I agree with you -- it would be nice to be there.

Debi,  He was very large and not the least bit afraid of me.

Debra,  This was huge, but I have a photos of an iguana in Puerto Vallarta that is even bigger -- I'll have to find it and post it, too.
