Low Prices, Higher Interest, Don't Wait to Buy

By
Real Estate Agent with Ken Meade Realty

Today's Arizona Republic quoted Associated Press, saying, "Prices are expected to bounce back next year...". This is good news to the current owners and sellers of homes in Sun City, Sun City West and Surprise Arizona. The days to sell have also started to drop.

Existing home sales prices are expected to gain 1.8% in 2008.

In addition, the Mortgage Bankers Association, in its June survey, announced that total new home loan applications increased 1.1% last week. This is a leading indicator of home buyer activity.

This sounds like good news for home owners in your area Jim.  The real estate market is one that you have to stay on top of the current conditions and know when to act.

Thank you Kimberly, I think we on AR should try as hard as we can to show what good news we can, even if it is just a little bit. It might help counter the doom and gloom of the press.
