Very nice photographs! I do like to visit Alaska, But I prefer the summer time. I was delayed by ice fog once. Never heard of it until I spent some time in Fairbanks.
So how did Mt. Redoubt get its name? Beautiful photos, what a wonderful place to live.

Debra, I always love to stop by for your photos of Alaska...Mt Redoubt is very cool. I have a family member who travels to Alaska several times a year...I'll have to make the trip with him soon...
Ice Fog is BAD... Ihave driving in it... you can not see anything...

Debra, Great photos, beautiful place. I visited Homer once in the month of September. I remember the water, the friendly people, seeing moose walking through people's yards, the Spit with Bald Eagles and yes the mountains. An amazing place. Thanks for the reminder of a great place. ---Gloria
