The following is part of a post I recently did on Wellcomemat. I wanted to share it with the AR community. The 4% refers to the percentage of online listings that have some type of "enhanced listing".
There are 170K users on Active rain, how many are agents or brokers? Compared to the total number of agents in the US, I would say it's not a large percentage.
What percentage of agents/brokers is on wellcomemat? Again, a small percentage.
Why all these small numbers, and I'm talking about the 4% also? I've seen the discussions about agents "get it", or they don't. The talk of why don't they "get it". How can I make my business grow? Why is one guy doing so well in his market? How can I get my business off the ground?
For over the last year I've been saying the same thing over and over, it is the "knowledge gap" that exists. If you bridge that gap, you will find success. I see and have been seeing the answers to the problem that people are having. I called it the "knowledge gap", and was recently told that it is actually referred to as "crossing the chasm". I did a couple of posts regarding this.
I don't do virtual tours or video tours, and I'm not a RE agent or broker. What I am is, an expert in how to effectively use the Internet as a sales tool to sell big ticket items. See in order to "Cross the Chasm" for RE video, you have wellcomemat the platform, you have Vinny the videographer, you have Rita the RE agent. Rita may know Wellcomemat is the platform, she knows Vinny the videographer. What Rita doesn't know is how those two things integrate with her goal of getting her listing sold! That's where I come in.
Think I'm off? Consider Peter den Boer's comment, "By the way, my videos get me listings, I just don't know how useful they are in actually selling a home"
