GreenApple Staging & Images at the Calgary Real Estate Tradeshow

The GreenApple TeamYesterday, January 20th, was the Calgary Real Estate Board Conference and Tradeshow event in Calgary, Alberta. GreenApple Staging & Images was proud and excited to be an exhibitor, among approximately 100 others, all contributing to the theme, "A Brave New World".

The GreenApple team had a great time mingling with both the attendees and other exhibitors. We had tons of traffic at our booth and got a chance to meet so many hardworking and forward thinking Realtors.

There is definitely an increased interest this year in Home Staging, professional Real estate Photography, and pre-market home selling Consultations as part of an individual Agent's marketing package. All part of the new economy. I believe these strategies are not just trends -- they are definitely here to stay as our society continues to emphasize visual media.

A couple of jokers! It wasn't all business! We had some fun, too, with our visitors . . .

Oh, and would you believe that every single lunch kit at the event contained nothing other than a green apple?!

GreenApple anyone? Our booth was staged with our brand colors -- black, white and apple green, of course -- and we were happily surprised that GreenApple was declared one of the top 3 Staging Exhibitors! All were tied with an Honorable Mention for booth design and service. I was told by the judges that they just couldn't choose between us.

Not bad for our first showing -- we'll take it!

We also held a draw and have given away a Pre-Market Consultation package and an MLS Photography Package. When I called the winners today, they were thrilled and are eager to apply these services to their next listing.

Our booth design

It'll be all work and no play for awhile, as the "Spring" real estate season seems well underway already in Calgary.

But that is exactly what we bargained for!

Thanks to everyone who visited us at the event, and all of those others who supported us in other ways.

We appreciate it!

Hi Deena, Congratulations, It looks from what I can tell, that the Honorable Mention was well deserved. Love the name, Green Apple Team.

The name sort of reminds me of the "Real Estate Tomato", the designer of the Blog site. It is an easy name to identify with.

Congratulations, Deena!  Sounds like it was a great event, and hopefully the start of even more business for GreenApple.  I'm seeing much more interest here in staging than ever before.  Hope it continues.  Is there an average amount that one might expect for staging a 3/2 home, or is that much too broad a question?

Great job, Deena, sounds like the show was a success, and your booth looks amazing.  We're going into our 1st real estate show in the Fraser Valley this coming Wednesday.  Do you have any words of wisdom for us?  I'm sure this will take your business to the next level.

Hey Jon - thanks again for your visits!

Diane - ahhhh, I'm touched! You always know how to encourage.

Hi Bill - glad to hear about the increased interest in Staging in your area! Yes, your question is really broad. It really depends on the home, the kind of stuff it needs, etc. etc. We always try to work within a budget, and you don't have to stage every last room.

Sally - Thanks for your kind words, and I wish you all the best at your first show! Have fun with it. Relax, laugh, enjoy chatting with the people you meet. Just be yourself. I decided awhile ago that not everybody is going to be a great fit for me, or me for them. Trust that you'll get the business you need to get and attract the people you will work with best.
